Cars questioned for training mode settings will not run.

A body must remain connected by at least two OEM mounts. If a body is totally removed from the chassis or being held by only one, the car is disqualified. If a body is attached by only two mounts, judges have the discretion to remove the car (the added weight dragging around can cause excess heat, and a fire hazard).

----- REPAIR ---------
Bodies can be patched in up to 5 spots, with a patch measuring
no larger than four-square inches, doubled and attached
to the body in four spots.
The body cannot be patched until metal is ripping.
Patches can be manipulated to match body lines.

The intention is to put on the best show. One and Dones / heats may not be known until day-of. Consolations will likely be run at events with heats.
Drivers are subject to inspection, and may not run if tech is failed and they do not make fixes. Cars MAY be equipped with flags following inspection, or marked and impounded

Chassis shots Illegal !!!
one warming for chassis shot , second offence automatic DQ

Every event will operate with a start-to-finish 15-second hit clock. This will be interpreted and enforced as initiated or aggressive contact every 15 seconds on another active car. Cars can be counted out due to roll overs or mechanical failures before rescue time ends. A driver declaring themselves out due to a battery or mechanical failure will be scored as out immediately, and not given a 15-second clock. This may result in a car that has time left on a shot clock finishing ahead of an individual declaring their car is out. In short, wait for an official to count you out."

Tech inspection on pre-run cars:
Cars will be allowed to roll and bend and be fixed. The rule reading: "Core supports/Tailgate/Taillight areas will be vertical at 90-degrees, or close to it as possible, when cars take to the track, regardless of number of runs" is void, and will no longer result in bodies being ripped apart during tech inspection before second, third and fourth run attempts..

Heats will have a rescue cutoff of a set time frame, features of a shorter duration.
Once an event on track has elapsed a certain time frame - heats ~2 3 minutes, the feature ~3-5 - the rescue rule will be waived and the remaining entries subject to one-and-done perils. The difference being that, if a driver is to be freed, flipped back over, or free themselves before the 15-second hit clock expires, they are free to remain in the derby.

Cars will be released from a stuck position only during the allotted unlimited rescue time. It is to their descretion, and a driver may attempt to wave an official off if needed. No driver is ever REQUIRED to use a rescue.
Cars should be put back in the ring with a door against the wall.
It is immediately a fair-access car, and can be struck once moved. Opposing drivers should be congizant of the officials, and try to avoid driving in the region where the car being saved is located, so as to avoid a red-flag.
Competition note: Give the rescued car a chance to pull away and move from the rescue.
If you are in danger of being put out of the ring, call for the rescue.

If freed on their own or with help from another driver, it does not count. After rescues are off, you have 15-seconds to free yourself or be freed by another. Once the clock expries, you are out.

Holding will be defined as using a bumper to pin another car in place.
It is not tolerated in heads-up events.
In team events, a standing 10-count will be put on cars interpreted as holding. This could result in disqualification."

Blocking is determined as preventing access to a car by using the your car doors.
Blocking is allowed in heads up and team events, with the intent of keeping other drivers from getting to a particular car.

Roll overs will not draw an automatic stoppage.
Efforts will be made by officials to administer rescues without stopping the heat, especially if the cars are near the wall.
Eliminated cars will not be taken from the track. Efforts will be made to unhook the battery for the driver, and the car will remain. This adds a driver's element, making competitors navigate the course, and adds another element of strategy in pinning another driver in.

There are only a few instances where a car is automatically out. The first is the body connection clause. A fire or hazardous situation will result in an immediate elimination and the car may be removed for safety. Finally, if a car goes over the wall and out of the park, it is disqualified. A car must have one tire still on the arena wall to use a rescue and stay in the derby. Drivers can call for a rescue in the act of being pushed out during assist time, but must have a wheel inside before calling for the help. These are usually bang-bang and will require attention of the judges.
Drivers announcing they are out will be scored out at that point. Any cars with time remaining on their active shot clocks will be scored ahead. Be a strategist: DON'T BREAK OFF YOUR STICK.

If you are calling for a rescue, you cannot be counted out until the rescue is given. Due to traffic, officials may not get to your car immediately. If you call for help, and were in danger of being counted out, the clock will stop on you until the car is put back on its wheels. This could become a judgement call. Be sure you are heard. Make yourself heard.

OFFICIALS CALL Officials reserve the option of amending these parameters (cut off times, number of heats, qualifiers from each) based on pace, number of total entries and/or other factors. There will be positively no arguing, fighting or belly aching. The doors have been open to us on a grand scale, and there will be zero tolerance of poor sportsmanship. Represent the hobby with respect and professionalism.
Officials call is final
